Maddalena has gone through many phases artistically. However, her love of multimedia collage and repurposing old materials always trumps other endeavors. Her favourite sketchbook is the Stillman & Birn 9x6 Zeta Series. Working small scale and intricately has allowed her to uncover the beauty that she believes is found in what would normally be considered the unremarkable moments in life. She started collaging with mixed media paintings she did, book excerpts she'd collect, and items she would find even on the street. She transitioned into tattooing in 2020 and has since watched her art evolve with that.
